We are so much conditioned to conceive that risk taking is always a monetary affair when it comes to success and prosperity. Our society and culture reinforce with the idea in our minds through models that are rare of the kind and literatures that are plenty in that sort. But, most of us are trapped in that societal fancy of impractical models to mislead our vulnerable minds to make us believe such unrealistic but fascinating models. You must have noticed the label on some packages: ‘Fragile! Handle with Care!’ When we seriously think about life, the label is very much applicable to it. Life is something fragile if we do not handle that with great care. If you think, let your life go on its own course, the label is not appropriate to your life. But, there will come some time when you realize that the label is valid for your carefree life too, even though you don’t care for that and go past ignoring such occasions. Interestingly, it is not because the label is irrelevant, but because you don’t value that. Anyway, a purposeful life cannot ignore the warning and live life without any precautions for the future. Because, there are variety of situations that can spoil many of your precious aspects of life if you don’t take strict preventive measures not to happen anything such. I made a detailed study on such occasions in people’s lives that must be avoided for a better living and a rewarding future. 1.     That Spoil

When we look around, we see some people enjoying higher degree of freedom in life than we do. Though they are a very few in number they grab our attention by their charm beyond their beauty and our admiration by their grace beyond their smile. We wish to relish the same amount of freedom in our life too. But how? You know, we also can enjoy the same amount of freedom if we can also practice what they do in their lives. When I began to notice such people (it is noticeable only when we begin to think about life a little more seriously from a meaningful perspective), I developed a kind of curiosity to study their path of life and came up with some stark findings common among them that I am going to share here with you. Those traits can be inculcated in our life and we also can experience more freedom than we do have now. 1.     1.  Though confidence is ideally universal, it is practically not so. It is ideally universal because it can be acquired by anyone in any field. But, it is not practically universal because all could not possess it and no one could possess it in all fields. It clearly indicates that self confidence is extremely strict in its selectively universal and conditionally practical nature. This realisation by itself speaks about the secret of self confidence that it is so public. Then, what is that public secret about self confidence? Let us look into that. The one who is confident in public speaking may not be so in creative writing. The other who can paint a picture well may not be confident in driving a car. Even the one who is confident in fishing may not be that confident in swimming, the skill very close to a fisherman. Do you have a purpose in life? if yes, great! Go on. If not, sorry! Get one. I have two queries to those don’t have a purpose in life yet. One, is it because you don’t want one? Two, is it because you could not find one? If your yes is to the first question, again sorry! But, still you have time and option to choose a purposeful and meaningful life. Now, let us discuss some of the interior and the exterior indicators of a purposeful life that are experiential to the purposer while heshe is living it out. The interior signs and the exterior signals one experiences while heshe is living a purposeful life are extremely significant for himher to move forward confidently and contently. A purposeful person must be watchful of them to examine if hisher ways are still right or wrong. And, it will help himher to correct and to confirm hisher ways ahead so that heshe never go deviated from hisher track of purpose and meaning. Purpose influences your thoughts, words and actions. Purpose shapes your goals; purpose points your directions; purpose filters your priorities; purpose frames your environments; purpose schedules your days; and, purpose designs your future. In a very simple way we can say that our purpose of life is the purposeful change we are deliberately going to make in this world by living here. We can categorize purpose into many considering different aspects of the purpose and the purposer. Purpose can be positive and negative based on the result. If your purpose brings in constructive changes in this world, it can be called positive purpose. And, if the change is destructive, it’s negative purpose. Based on the intention of the purposer, purpose can be two types: selfish and selfless. If the purpose is for the egoistic gains of the purposer, it’s selfish; and if it’s with the altruistic motive, it can be called selfless purpose. Again, based on the awareness of the purposer about hisher purpose, they can be divided into four. One, unconsciously purposeless, is the one who is not aware that heshe has to have a purpose. Purposeful life = Meaningful life. This is purely subjective when it comes to our lives individually. Purpose and meaning of your life must be defined by yourself. That is how my purpose of life differs from yours. As your purpose of life changes your meaning of life also changes. Whereas, when we try to define ‘the purpose’ of life instead of ‘your/my purpose’, we all get the same meaning and definition of life which we discussed in the previous post. What is purpose of life? Let us leave the fundamental question “what is the purpose of life” unaddressed as that does not serve ‘our purpose’ of this discussion. Furthermore, I don’t recommend you to spoil your entire life to search and research answer to that impractical question to make yourself a ‘metaphysical philosopher’ and finally end up without any concrete answer to that question. In my opinion, whatever the answer you give to that fundamental question, it may change as life and time change. Because, the conclusions we arrive at today are based on our present understanding of life, time and the world. Though this fact is valid for even our physical questions too, our conclusions to that physical questions can serve and lead to better answers and findings on them tomorrow. Whereas, for metaphysical questions, if the conclusions are nullified, the concluders entire efforts are going to be useless and they do not serve anything  further anyway. Do you regret about your mistakes in the past? If yes, very good. Correct them if possible; or else, decide not to repeat them anymore. Done. Do you feel guilty about your mistakes in the past? If yes, too bad. Because that can do nothing with your mistakes already done. But, your feelings of guilt can adversely affect on your today and tomorrow. Never ever allow them to spoil your life ahead. That's it. Even though your mistakes were deliberate, don't carry their burdens anymore ahead.
